Update on Spam

Here is an update on the Spam attack on my blog. I’m now FREE of Spam! What a relief!

Thanks to recommendations from Twitter, I’m now using WP-SPAMFREE. It is all I need to block spam. Unlike some of the other plugins I tried, they don’t block valid links. There is very little to configure which makes it easy for beginners. I encourage people to set WP-SPAMFREE for automatic updates so that the program is always the latest version.

To look into WP-SPAMFREE you can go to their site by clicking here or you can search on Wordpress for plugins. You can also twitter them at http://twitter.com/WPSpamFree

I hope this helps so you won’t have to go through the stress of dealing with a spam attack.
